Being diagnosed with, living with, or caring for someone with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or other forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) can feel incredibly lonely. Through all the ups and downs, it’s important to remember that support exists.

Our regular peer support groups offer dedicated opportunities for adults, young adults, and caregivers supporting loved ones living with Crohn’s or colitis to join others in a safe and welcoming environment. Each group provides space online to connect, share experiences, and build a sense of community.

Peer Support

Designed for adults living with Crohn’s or colitis, our peer support group offers a safe space to talk openly, share experiences, and connect with others who just “get it”.

No matter where you are in your IBD journey, you can expect:

  • Connection with people who know what life is like with a chronic illness
  • Practical tips and coping strategies from others with lived experience
  • Encouragement, reassurance, and support
  • Access to trusted information and helpful resources

All calls are held on a monthly basis.

Young Adult Peer Support

Living with Crohn’s or colitis as a young adult can come with a unique set of challenges. Our young adult peer support group offers a welcoming space for young adults ages 18 to 30 to connect with others who know what it’s like to navigate life with Crohn’s or colitis at that age.

You can expect:

  • Connection with other young adults who understand life with IBD
  • A supportive space to share experiences and feel heard
  • Encouragement and practical tips for navigating challenges
  • A stronger sense of belonging and community
All calls are held on the last Wednesday of every month.

Caregiver Peer Support

Whether you're a parent, partner, family member, or friend, our caregiver peer support group provides a warm space to connect with others who understand firsthand everything that comes with supporting someone living with Crohn’s or colitis.

You can expect:

  • A community of fellow caregivers
  • A warm and welcoming space to share experiences and practical tips
  • Emotional support and encouragement
  • Resources to help navigate the caregiving journey
All calls are held on a bimonthly basis.
